Where are all you lame brains that said months ago that Sympatico was
forcing everyone to use MSN and was going to kill their own pop mail
server?

Those were the people who just signed up with sympatico. They don't get a
pop account. It isn't a true pop account because you can't send gigabytes at
a time like most of the other people in other parts of the world with
different isp's. Of course for them it's free. Being able to send 3 and a
half megabytes at a time doesn't define a real email account.

No.

It was widely believe by some here that Sympatico was on a campaign to
remove their POP mail service and force everyone who were still using
their pop mail accounts to switch to MSN.

I'm just pointing out that that campaign appears to be bogus - just as
I believed it was back then when the issue came up months ago.

There are no limits to the size of out-going e-mail when using the
out-bound sympatico mail servers. This is because no storage is
required for outbound mail, and also because sympatico business
customers must also use the same out-bound servers so they would
complain if there was some sort of size-limit for outbound e-mail.

For incoming mail - yes there is a paltry small mailbox size and that
is one of the motivating factors to get people to switch to MSN.

So who needs a bigger mailbox if there using a POP client to download
their mail?

:-) , All those people who have evolved to actually believe that PPS files
and other humungus graphic/picture files falls under the category of
email.

They're too dim to realize that's what you have file *transfer* capability
for.

Suppose somebody sends you two pictures from a twelve megapixel camera? The
second picture doesn't make it. Suppose someone wants to send you an iso
file of a dvd9 well that doesn't make it either.

Posted AFTER the post from Mr. Connors - just so you don't sound like a
*complete* moron Steve. Pretty sad.

Trolling me. You'll notice that he even confuses upload caps with
protocols - two entirely different things.
